KATHUA, Apr 7: Kathua police under the overall supervision of SSP Kathua, Ms. Mohita Sharma today seized one vehicle (Truck) laden with “Timber Wood” logs at Hatli Morh area of Police Station (PS) Kathua.
Police said a team led by in charge Police Post (PP) Hatli PSI, Ishan Sharma under the guidance of Additional SP Kathua, Sunil Kumar Kesar, DySP Hqrs Kathua , Ravinder Singh and SHO PS Kathua Inspector, Ashish Sharma established a specific Naka with the Forest Department team in Hatli Morh area and intercepted one Vehicle (Truck) bearing Registration Number JK14C-4795 driven by Mahender Kumar, son of Lt. Mansa Ram of Nagrota tehsil, Ramkot district Kathua which were loaded with Timber/ wooden logs without any valid permission. Accordingly the vehicle along with the timber logs was seized.
As the matter pertains to the Forest Department the vehicle along with Timber was handed over to the Forest Department officials for the further course of action.
