Karra assigns charge of distts to party leaders

SRINAGAR, July 6: In a significant development, J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) president, Tariq Hameed Karra assigned district-wise responsibilities as coordinators to senior party leaders and legislators in Kashmir, with immediate effect.
Karra said that coordinators will visit their assigned districts “minimum” after every 10 days and ensure conduct of a party activities/public outreach programmes, upto block level, subsequently they will submit a detailed report to him (Karra) with respect to organizational activities in these districts.
Senior leader, Abdul Rashid Dar has been assigned Bandipora district, MLA Nizam- Ud- Din Bhat -Srinagar, MLA Irfan Hafeez Lone- Kupwara, Bashir Ahmad Magray- Anantnag, Surinder Singh Channi- Kulgam, Abdul Rahim Rather- Pulwama, Nissar Ahmad Mundoo- Baramulla, Mohd Amin Bhat- Shopian, Abdul Gani Khan- Budgam and Suhail Bukhari has been assigned Ganderbal district.
The coordinators will fulfill the significant assignment given to them in the capacity of district coordinators and ensure vigorous organizational activities with the involvement of all concerned leaders in their assigned districts, JKPCC president added.
