JAMMU, Oct 3: As announced by State president, Confederation of SC/ST/OBC Organizations, RK Kalsotra, to hold 1000 ‘Bhim Vartas’ all over the State before November 6 to aware the masses all-over the State to gherao the Civil Secretariat on its opening for fulfilling their demands, a ‘Bhim Varta’ was held by Som Lal (Somi) at his residence at Village Ban Sultan, Miran Sahib on Tuesday.
RK Kalsotra accompanied by tehsil president, Darshan Banmotra, graced the ‘Bhim Varta’. A large number of villagers including, male, female and youth participated in the Varta.
Kalsotra in his address stated that the Confederation will make aware the reserved class community about the short coming in implementation of reservation by way of holding ”Chai per Bhim Varta”. He sought support of each and everyone.
He further added that the Confederation has given dead line of November 6 to Governor of Jammu and Kashmir to fulfill the demands projected in memorandum otherwise there will be gherao of the Civil Secretariat on its opening in Jammu.
Kalsotra added that he along with his team of Confederation has started visiting village to village, street to street to educate the community about their rights and agitate for getting them.
All the villagers listened to the agenda of the Confederation assured to join hands with the social justice movement started by the Confederation.
