JAMMU, Sept 20: Reaffirming its commitment to public welfare, the Kailakh Jyotishavim Vedic Sansthan Trust, Jammu & Kashmir, organized a free mega medical camp at SDM School, Karwanda Bhalwal today. The event was inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner Jammu, Dr. Rakesh Minhas, who appreciated the Trust’s efforts and emphasized the importance of health outreach in rural areas.
Over 700 patients received medical check-ups and free medicines. The Ayush Department, Jammu, provided active support, while a team of specialist doctors offered consultations in gynaecology, orthopaedics, dentistry, ophthalmology, nephrology, Ayurveda, surgery and general medicine.
Renowned doctors including Dr. Vishav Gupta, Dr. Praveen Yograj, Dr. Vidyut Gupta, Dr. Dheeraj, Dr. Neena and Dr. Rajan Khajuria rendered their expert services.
Trust President Mahant Rohit Shastri reiterated the Trust’s dedication to organizing regular camps for free healthcare. SDM North Deepak Kumar and Baldev Singh, Vice President, J&K High Court Bar Association (Jammu), lauded the initiative as a vital contribution to community health.
Prominent citizens including Tehsildar Bhalwal Monika Sharma, Rakesh Gandotra, Kuldeep Kumar, Bhushan Jamwal, Bandana Kumari, Pratap Singh, Sunil Sharma, Lucky Sharma, Sunil Singh Raipuria and Dr. JP Singh also attended the event and appreciated the noble initiative.
