JAMMU, Apr 16: Shri Kailakh Jyotish Avim Vedic Sansthan Trust here today under the leadership of its president, Mahant Rohit Shastri appointed new office bearers and made Mahamandaleshwar 1008 Swami Kailashanand Giri Ji Maharaj (Head of Niranjani Akhara) as patron of the Trust.
Other office bearers appointed on this occasion included president, Mahant Rohit Shastri; senior vice president, Pawan Khajuria; vice president, Sunil Sharma; general secretary, Ankush Sharma; secretary, Rakesh Gandotra; treasurers, Uttam Chand Sharma and Ajay Sharma; Advisor, Prabodh Sharma; office secretaries, Jagdev Singh Chib and Naresh Raina; spokesperson, Prof. Sharad Chandra Sharma; press secretary, Abhiraj Sharma; trustees, Sham Lal Sharma, R.K Chhibber, Shakti Pathak, Anil Gupta, Deepak Gupta, Nigam Gupta, Vinay Jamwal, Dr. Sanjay Sharma and Vinay Agrawal.
A handout stated that the newly constituted team will not only work for religious and spiritual goals but will also remain consistently active in promoting social welfare, spreading Vedic education and preserving/revitalizing cultural values.
