JYBT organises weekly programme ‘Gyan-Yagy Pataskala’

JAMMU, Jan 18: A weekly programme Sanskrit pathshala (Gyan-Yagy Pataskala) organized by Pawan Kumar Shastri, president Jammu Yatri Bhawan Trust (JYBT), was held here today.
On the occasion, Karunesh Jamwal, was the chief guest.
The thirty seventh session of Vedic Pathshala commenced 60 students, mostly under 15, actively participated in the Vedic Pathshala.
They received comprehensive instructions on reciting “Shrimad Bhagavad Gita and Shree Hanuman Chalisa, Sunderkand path and besides above Dharma-Karma Gayan.
During a sharing session, the students impressively recited verses in Sanskrit and then skillfully translated them into both English and Hindi.
Their ability to recite and translate Shrimad Bhagvad Gita and Shree Hanuman Chalisa was particularly noteworthy, earning appreciation from all presence.
Pawan Kumar Shastri a renowned religious and social figure of the province has been instrumental in initiating Vedic Classes in the division.
In his address, Shastri emphasized that the Trust aims to continue these classes to enlighten the younger generation about Sanatan Dharma’s rich heritage by imparting knowledge of ancient’s scriptures like Shree Bhagavad Gita, Hanuman Chalisa, Ramayana and Veda and Upanishad.
The Trust seeks to connect youth with their cultural roots, said Arun Shastri & Dr Ajay Shastri a Sanskrit Scholars.
Among others who were present on this auspicious occasion included Purushotam Lal Dubey, Pt Prabakar Shastri, Rishi, Laxmi Dutt Shastri, Sukhdev Sharma and others.
