JYBT flags off 36 devotees to Haridwar, Rishikesh

JAMMU, Mar 16: In a remarkable initiative taken by the Jammu Yatri Bhawan Trust to facilitate spiritual fullfillment, on the request made by Sham Lal Sharma, M.L.A Jammu (North) constituency, the Trust has facilitated a group of 36 such devotees of “Dharam Jagran Manch” (19 Females & 17 Males) for performing of holy dip in Holy Ganga Maiya in Haridwar & Rishikesh respectively. The Trust has made their boarding and lodging besides fooding arrangements in its Haridwar Bhawan and in addition also arranged “Yoga Shivir Camp”, said Pawan Kumar Shastri, President of the Trust. This group of devotees shall remain in Haridwar Bhawan of Trust from 17th March to 19th March.
Amidst chanting of Vedic Haven, Pooja Archana performed in “Sankat Mochan Panch Mukhi Shree Hanuman Mandir Complex of the Trust situated at B.C Road Jammu, the batch of devotees was sent for Ganga Darshan on a special bus which was flagged off by Sham Lal Sharma.
Before the departure, all devotees were served refreshments (one packet of food and one bottle of water). Pawan Kumar Shastri, President of Trust also extended his heartfelt wishes, urging them to embrace the pilgrimage as an opportunity for spiritual cleaning and self- purification. He emphasized the significance of Holy Ganga Darshan / Holy dip in Hindu tradition. He also reiterated that this was not merely a travel experience, but a profound step towards attaining inner peace and enlightenment, a step towards spiritual awakening and divine blessings. The stage was managed by the General Secretary / Treasures, Gurdas Sharma.
The flag off ceremony witnessed the presence of several distinguished personalities including Gurdas Sharma, Treasurer/Trustee of Jammu Yatri Bhawan Trust, (Jammu/ Haridwar), Lila Karan Sharma, Trustee (Senior Advocate J&K/ Ladakh High Court), Raj Kumar Gupta, Trustee, Sukhdev Sharma WCM JYBT, Rajesh Rakwal, Private Secretary to President, Rashpal Sharma Engineer of Jammu Yatri Bhawan Trust, Balbir Singh, Field Officer Jammu Yatri Bhawan Trust.
