JAMMU, May 26: The activists of Jammu West Assembly Movement held anti- Pakistan rally and burnt effigies of Nawaz Sharief and Hurriyat Conference leaders and criticised State Government for worst law and order situation in the Kashmir Valley.
Addressing the protesters, Sunil Dimple, JWAM president, demanded the Governor N N Vohra to impose the Governor Rule in the State as the BJP-PDP Government has failed to curb the militancy in the State and law and order situation in Kashmir is deteriorating with innocents losing lives. He said the security forces, army camps police stations are being attacked by the Pakistani agents and pro- Pakistan elements.
He warned the separatists and Hurriyat leaders that their nefarious designs will not be allowed to materialize and tolerated in the State.
Dimple said the Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti was not giving land for the construction of the Kashmiri Pandits colonies for their honourable return and denying establishment of Sainik Colony.
He demanded the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Defence Minister and Home minister to visit the Kashmir and let the continuance of the Armed Forces Special Powers Act in the State.
Dimple demanded to liberate POK from the clutches of Pakistan.
