JWAM for imposition of month-long lockdown

JAMMU, July 20: Jammu West Assembly Movement (JWAM) has demanded the J&K administration to impose a month-long lockdown in the entire UT to check the spike in COVID-19 cases.
Addressing a press conference, JWAM president, Sunil Dimple said that most of the areas of Jammu district have been declared as Red Zones as Corona cases are on rising fast. He advocated for one-month lockdown in Jammu and other districts, besides imposition of restriction on all inter district movements to contain the dreaded virus.
Dimple further demanded the LG administration to start Plasma Therapy in the UT to treat COVID positive patients. “Since outbreak of the pandemic in the UT, we have been cautioning the administration to take effective sanitization steps to stop coronavirus, start door to door testing but administration took it very lightly.
