JWAM demands start of work on Jammu smart city, other projects

JAMMU, July 16: Jammu West Assembly Movement (JWAM) activists under the leadership of their President, Sunil Dimple here today staged a protest demonstration demanding start of work to make Jammu a smart city.
Speaking on the occasion, Dimple also demanded the start of AIIMS OPD in Super Speciality Hospital of Jammu and continued his demands to start the construction work of Rehari Chungi-Jewal Chowk flyover.
He also demanded the start of work on artificial lake on River Tawi and start of metro mono rails in Jammu.
He said that the Jammu region is facing huge power curtailments and acute sacristy of drinking water.
Dimple further demanded that the Governor N.N Vohra should abolish the Ban Nagrota Toll Plaza.
Prominent among those present in protest included Sham Saroop, Harbans Tondon, Rakesh Pandoh, Ram Kapoor, Ashok Khana, Dev Raj, Vicky, Babu, Ram Das, Vijay Khjuria, Chaman Pawar, Kulwant Sharma, and others.
