Srinagar, Nov 16: Justice Vinod Chatterji Koul, Administrative Judge of district Anantnag today visited district Anantnag.
Accompanied by Justice Rahul Bharti, Judge High Court of J&K and Ladakh, they were welcomed by Pr District and Sessions Judge Tahir Khurshid Raina; the Deputy Commissioner Fakhar udin Hamid, and SSP Dr Sandeep Chakravorthy at Dak Banglow Anantnag.
A detailed meeting was held by Judges taking review of the proposed construction of new court complex at Anantnag. Deputy Commissioner Anantnag and the Executive Engineer (PWD) R&B Anantnag, briefed them about the present status of project.
The district administration apprised the visiting Judges of the preparations underway, including the completion of soil testing for the proposed site. The Judges emphasized the need to expedite the construction process, ensuring it meets the highest standards to serve the judiciary and the public effectively.
Standing instructions were given by Judges for initiating the construction process as soon as possible. The Deputy Commissioner reiterated the administration’s full cooperation in addressing any logistical or administrative challenges to facilitate the project’s timely execution.
During the meeting, Judges also emphasized the need for the speedy disposal of pending cases and the rationalization of cases across different courts, urging all stakeholders to adopt efficient mechanisms for timely justice delivery. Additionally, the Judges highlighted the importance of the swift disposal of pending cases and rationalization of cases across various courts, urging all stakeholders to prioritize judicial efficiency.
The Principal District & Sessions Judge assured them that all necessary steps are being taken to ensure the speedy completion of the court complex, rationalization of cases and swift disposal of pending target matters across different courts of the district.
