JAMMU, May 10: A delegation of Jammu University Research Scholars Executive Association (JURSEA) called on Jammu University Vice-Chancellor Prof M P S Ishar and apprised him of the problems being faced by admission seekers and students.
The delegation, led by JURSEA president Rakesh Chib suggested that the JU Entrance Test forms should be made available by accepting Bank Cash Receipt instead of Demand Draft for avoiding inconvenience to the admission seekers.
The Vice-Chancellor assured a positive response over the suggestion and also issued necessary directions in this regard, Rakesh Chib claimed.
The JURSEA delegation also demanded gen set facility in the examination halls, repair of water coolers, washrooms etc.
The VC assured to look into all demands for providing better facilities to the students.
The delegation comprised of Inderjeet Kour, Varinder Singh, Akshay Sharma, Gourav Kumar and Vinod Kumar.
