JAMMU, Aug 25: A rare distinction, on B.S Jamwal, a Jurist from Jammu, who is a member of Internal Council of Jurists (ICJ) and also lifetime member of the Supreme Bar Association India, being invited to participate in the “International Protest March for Disarmament and for Peaceful World” at speakers corner, Hyde Park, London.
President, International Council of Jurists in honour and recognition of B S Jamwal esteemed presence and gracious support in the historic International March for nuclear disarmament and a peaceful world commemorating the 80th anniversary of the atomic bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki- which significantly amplified the global call for disarmament, peace and international cooperation. Jamwal has attended the Peace March and Nuclear Disarmament and a peaceful world. His commitment to the values of justice, human dignity and nuclear non -proliferation is deeply appreciated by all those striving for a safer and more peaceful world and accordingly certificate of appreciation presented to Jamwal.
Jamwal, hails from a family of the agriculturists in the remote village of Tarlokpur tehsil and district Samba, is going to touch another milestone by attending such a protest for peace and disarmament and a peaceful world, where legal luminaries of the world and peace loving, Bar leaders and social activists religious leaders from all walks of life have participated in the said International Conference, as he has already glorified in the recent past the name of the India and particularly the UT of J&K.
