PULWAMA, Sept 18: Advocate Junaid Ahmad Bhat was re-elected as the president of the Bar Association Pulwama for the second consecutive term.

The elections were held today in the premises of the District Court Pulwama.
The contest witnessed a close fight between Advocate Junaid Ahmad Bhat and Advocate Khursheed Shah.
Advocate Junaid secured 133 votes, while Advocate Khursheed managed 107 votes.
Following his victory, Advocate Junaid was felicitated with garlands by fellow association members amid celebrations.
Expressing gratitude, he assured that he would work with dedication for the welfare of the Bar and the people.
Speaking on the occasion, Junaid said, “His primary focus would be on the construction of court chambers for advocates.”
He also appealed to the civil society members of district Pulwama to reach out to the Bar Association whenever they require support or assistance.
