Jugal inaugurates Community Hall at Upper Kathar

JAMMU, Jan 14:- Jugal Kishore Sharma, Member of Parliament for the Jammu Reasi Parliamentary constituency, today inaugurated a newly constructed Community Hall at Village Chigla Padder Manwal, Panchayat Upper Kathar of block Dansal in Nagrota Assembly constituency. The project was funded under the Member of Parliament Local Area Development Scheme (MPLADS).
Addressing a large gathering at the inauguration ceremony, Jugal Kishore Sharma emphasized the importance of the new facility for the local community. Jugal Kishore said that during his recent tour to the area, the people raised the demand for construction of a multipurpose hall for various community activities, and to fulfill the demand of the people Rupees 11 lakh was announced and released from MPLAD fund.
He said that there was no covered sitting area in the locality, which made it difficult for people to gather in peak Summer ,Winter or rainy seasons for social activities. Now this hall will serve as a venue for a variety of community events, meetings, and cultural activities, thereby fostering unity and social harmony within the village.
Jugal Kishore further stated that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, is committed for the overall development of the region. “The BJP Government at the Center is dedicated for ensuring progress and infrastructure development in every corner of the nation, especially in rural areas”, he added.
Member of Parliament also highlighted several key development initiatives undertaken during the tenure of the BJP-led Government at the Center, noting improvements in infrastructure, healthcare, education, and social welfare programs across Jammu and Kashmir.
Jugal Kishore also extended his warm greetings to the people on the auspicious occasions of Lohri and Makar Sankranti. He said that these festivals symbolize joy, unity, and prosperity, and bring happiness, peace, and well-being to the people of the nation.
Mandal president BJP, Vikas Gupta, senior leaders, BJP Uttam Singh, Ajeet Singh ,Sunil Kumar, Yudhvir Singh ,Charan Dass, Baldev Singh, advocate Vinod, Vijay Gupta, ex-Sarpanches, Panches and prominent citizens of the society were also present at the occasion.
