JAMMU, Mar 12: The International Centre for Cross Cultural Research and Human Resource Management (ICccR & HRM), University of Jammu, organised a one-day workshop on “Global Business Communication and Executive Image Management” for the students of MBA (International Business).
The workshop was organised with the objective of strengthening communication competencies, executive presence and professional etiquette among future managers, which are considered essential for success in the contemporary corporate environment.
The session was conducted by Chitrakshi Vij, a Delhi-based CEO Image Consultant and Executive Presence Coach with over 12 years of professional experience. She has trained more than 6,000 professionals across India and has worked with reputed organisations including the Government of India, UNDP India, Dale Carnegie, NIIT Technologies and UpGrad.
During the workshop, Ms Vij interacted with the students through practical demonstrations, interactive discussions and real-life examples. She focused on key aspects such as effective communication, presentation skills, professional etiquette, executive presence and personal branding. The session helped students understand the importance of confidence, clarity and a professional image in corporate environments.
Prof Hardeep Chahal, Director, ICccR & HRM, appreciated the initiative and emphasized that such workshops play a significant role in enhancing students’ professional competencies and preparing them for the evolving corporate landscape.
Faculty members and students actively participated in the workshop and appreciated the efforts of the Centre in organising skill-oriented and industry-relevant programmes.
