JTC, SKF protest, warn to continue agitation

JAMMU, Oct 15:  A protest was held by Jagti Tenement Committee (JTC) and Soan Kashmir Front (SKF) today. The organization members who are protesting for last 14 days accused the Government of ignoring the genuine demands of the displaced people.
The BJP is ignoring us but God will surely punish them .The JTC, SKF Committee staged protest again today  under the leadership of  Shadi Lal Pandita, president Jagti Tenement Committee, Soan Kashmir Front J&K / convener of PCC Migrant Cell to turn the attention of the Government towards their demands including enhancement of monthly  cash assistance of relief holders from Rs 13,000 to Rs 25,000, Jobs to those families where there is no Government employee.
Addressing the members Pandita said that today is the 14 day of our agitation which started on October 2 and it will continue till Government meets the demands. .The Government should solve the demands of KPs as soon as possible.
He said that the package of 20,000 Jobs should be given for unemployed youth of the community, out of them 5,000 Class VI posts should be given to the unemployed youth of those families who could not send their children for higher education after matriculation due to poverty and exile. Pandita said that the Government should provide free ration to pensioners whose pensions are very low, he added.
