JAMMU, June 13: President Jagti Tenement Committee (JTC) and Soan Kashmir Front, Shadi Lal Pandita today appealed the Government to construct at least 20 more Yatri bhawans and 100 toilet blocks at Mata Kheer Bhawani Shrine, Tulmulla to tackle the heavy rush of pilgrims during the annual mela.
Pandita said that though Government and Relief Organization had made elaborate arrangements for the pilgrims this year, the pilgrims were put to problems due to lack of proper accommodation.
He said as the pilgrims continue to visit holy shrine on every Ashtami of the month hence construction of more quarters at the shrine will prove handy in future. He also reiterated that townships for the rehabilitation of Kashmiri Pandits be established one each at Srinagar Anantnag and Baramulla districts.
