JSSC elects new executive committee at biennial AGM

JAMMU, April 4: Jammu Sahodaya Schools Complex (JSSC) successfully held its biennial Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Jammu, during which a new five-member executive committee was elected unopposed for the upcoming term.
The election process was conducted smoothly under the supervision of election commissioners-Dr KCS Mehta, Dr Pramod Kumar Srivastva, Rajesh Rathore and Dr Vikesh Kaur, following the announcement of eligible candidates who had filed nominations. All positions were filled unanimously, reflecting consensus among member institutions.
The newly elected executive committee includes Dr Atul Hans (Principal of IDRS) as president, Rajeev (Principal of JK Police Public School) as vice president, Sanjeev Pradhan (Principal of APS Samba) as joint secretary, K L Dogra (Principal of MV International School) as secretary finance and Dr Manjari Sehgal (Principal of Stephens International School) as secretary media & information.
In his address, the newly elected president Dr Atul Hans emphasized the importance of collaboration among schools to strengthen the education ecosystem. He highlighted the role of Sahodaya in fostering collective growth and contributing to national development goals.
The AGM also marked the formal transition of leadership, with the outgoing executive committee handing over responsibilities to the newly elected team. Members present at the meeting expressed confidence in their new leadership for the forthcoming term. The meeting concluded on a note of unity and commitment towards enhancing cooperation and academic excellence among member schools under the JSSC banner.
