JAMMU, Apr 29: In a significant step towards digital empowerment and efficient utility management, the Jammu Power Distribution Corporation Limited (JPDCL) has launched its new mobile application, “Bill Suvidha”. The App aims to modernize electricity bill handling, offering consumers a smarter, more transparent way to manage their power usage and payments.
Available now on both the Google Play Store and Apple App Store, “Bill Suvidha” is packed with user-friendly features tailored to enhance convenience and service delivery. Consumers can now instantly access and pay electricity bills, view payment histories, and monitor real-time energy consumption through integrated smart meter data-all from a single platform.
The App also enables multi-account management, allowing users to link and manage multiple electricity connections with ease. In a bid to further enhance customer experience, the App supports service request management, enabling consumers to raise, track, and resolve queries seamlessly.
A standout feature of “Bill Suvidha” is its dedicated support for prepaid consumers, who can now access detailed recharge and deduction histories. A comprehensive statement of accounts provides transparency and serves accounting and auditing needs. In addition to utility services, the App also offers personalized energy-saving tips, helping users reduce electricity consumption and costs.
“This digital initiative is a major leap in consumer empowerment,” a JPDCL spokesperson said. “With Bill Suvidha, we are eliminating traditional billing hurdles and ushering in a new era of digital convenience and environmental responsibility.”
Encouraging users to adopt the App, JPDCL emphasized the broader goal of transitioning to a paperless and eco-friendly billing system, aligning with national digitalization and sustainability goals.
