JAMMU, Jan 15: Jammu Power Development Corporation Limited (JPDCL) disconnected 68 illegal domestic connections in city outskirts.
The drive against hooking was taken out on the directions of P D Singh, Executive Engineer, Electric Division-II JPDCL, Gandhi Nagar by a team of the officials of Electric Sub Division-I, Green Belt led by Assistant Executive Engineer.
The team was also comprised of Feeder Managers Deep Mehra and Subash Chander, and other field staff. The team conducted inspection in Moominabad, Jalalabad, Azad Colony Sunjwan and Bathindi and 68 illegal domestic connections were disconnected which are using power by hooking that causes overloading of the Sub/Stations.
