JPBEF celebrates 80th Foundation Day of AIBEA

Distributes towels, ration among children

JAMMU, Apr 20: Jammu Province Bank Employees Federation (JPBEF) celebrated 80th Foundation Day of AIBEA by holding a social identification programme at Balgran a charitable home for children at Channi Rama here, today.
During the function JPBEF provided 120 towels, ration and other daily use items for the children of the Home. The function was presided over Tara Singh president of the Federation. Besides, the Federation leadership the programme was also attended by some of top dignitaries of the banks who blessed the children of the Home.
While addressing the students, Arun Kumar Gupta, general secretary of the Federation said that AIBEA was founded on April 20 in 1946 and to celebrate the day such programmes are regularly held by the Federation in the past also as part of social responsibility. Earlier such programmes were held for Specially Abled Children at Udheywalla Jammu., Muskaan Home for Specially abled children Channi, Balika Niketan, Ved Mandir Ambphalla and other such places.
The function was also attended by Ashwani Pradhan general secretary, PNBOA, Yogesh Kumar, Jitender Kumar, Harminder Singh, Lucky Jamwal, office bearers and Central Committee members of the Federation and many Comrades from all Banks branches.
The vote of thanks was given by Yougesh Kumar, secretary of the Federation. The secretary of Children’s Home expressed his gratitude to the leadership of JPBEF for giving lead to other organisations in the matter of social obligation. He expressed the hope for holding such programmes in near future too.
