Joyalukkas honours 222 long-serving employees with global trips and bonuses

THRISSUR, March 28: The Joyalukkas Group celebrated employee loyalty and long-term commitment by honouring 222 staff members who have completed over two decades of service, at a grand ‘Jewels of Joy’ ceremony held here on Saturday.

The event was inaugurated by Joy Alukkas, Chairman and Managing Director of the Group, who described the initiative as a tribute to employees who have played a vital role in the company’s growth journey.

He noted that since the launch of its first showroom in 1988, the Group’s expansion into a global jewellery powerhouse has been driven by the dedication of its workforce, which now exceeds 11,500 employees.

As part of the recognition programme, the 222 employees were awarded a bonus equivalent to five months’ salary, along with international trips for themselves and their spouses. The initiative, the company said, reflects its commitment to acknowledging and rewarding loyalty and excellence.

Highlighting the brand’s achievements, Joy Alukkas said the company has earned a reputation as one of the most trusted jewellery retailers worldwide, attributing this success to the unwavering commitment of its employees.

The Joyalukkas Group currently operates across multiple countries, including India, the United States, the United Kingdom, and several nations in the Middle East and Asia-Pacific region.

The company is also gearing up for further global expansion, with plans to establish new showrooms in Hong Kong, Bangkok, Canada, New Zealand and additional locations across North India.

The event was attended by key members of the company’s leadership, including Joly Joyalukkas, independent directors Alex Kuruvilla Babu, Lava Krishnan, and Pushpi B Murickan, as well as senior executives such as John Paul, CEO – International Operations. Prominent figures from the fields of art, culture and media were also present.
