JAMMU, Mar 10: Jawahar Lal Nehru University (JNU) is a hub of anti-national elements and the Government should keep watch over the activities going on in the Varsity campus.
This was stated by Dr Ramakant Dubey, Patron, Vishav Hindu Parishad (VHP) while interacting with media persons this afternoon.
He said that JNU President Kanhaiya Kumar dishonored and blamed defence forces by saying that Army men rape women in Kashmir, adding that the defence forces which are recognized as the most disciplined and most honoured force in the world are deployed in the disturbed countries like Nigeria, Lebnon and so many others as “Peace Keeping Force” and from nowhere even a finger has been raised against their dedication except Kanahiya.
“Such hidden enemies of the country along with their pseudo secularist bosses are adamant to destroy the nation through such planted enemies of the country”, he said, adding that it is really astonishing that this university which is being fed on the resources collected from the hard earned money of countrymen through taxes has been allowed to work against the country to disintegrate it.
He informed that open slogans and activities against the country have become a permanent feature in JNU campus rather than study, adding that this university is not even included in the 200 list of top universities and has become only a breeding ground to produce anti-national students at the behest of faculties.
Dr Dubey added that Kanhaiya Kumar, who is blaming security personnel with such derogatory allegations like rapes, forceful occupation, lifting of AFSPA and holding of plebiscite in Jammu and Kashmir, will certainly become a cancer tomorrow for the nation.
“I could not understand, how the Courts which gave conditional release to Kumar are silent about his outbursts”, he questioned.
He appealed to Central Government to direct University Grant Commission and HRD Ministry to curb the financial and administrative assistance of this entire campus so that a check is applied for curbing the anti-national activities in this campus which may also be an alert to the other universities.
