JAMMU, Mar 19: The Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) authorities today sealed two private premises for violations in Jammu North.
A senior JMC official told the `Excelsior’ that on the directions of Commissioner JMC, the Health Officer Jammu, Dr Vinod Kumar along with his team sealed the Bulk Waste Generators, at MD Resort (Ward No=63) in Bantalab area and at Gurukul Resort (Ward No-65), Muthi-Barnai, Akhnoor Road for violating Solid Waste Management Rules and not creating the facility for managing their wastes in their premises.
The official further said that strict action shall be taken against all the violators. He appealed to all the domestic and commercial establishments for segregating their waste into dry and wet and BWGs to create the facility for managing wet waste in their premises.
