JAMMU, Apr 12: The Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) in collaboration with Jammu Smart City, Directorate of Tourism and Raghunath Bazar Vikas Corridor Council is all set to celebrate Baisakhi with great enthusiasm and cultural splendour at the newly developed Suryaputri Tawi River Front.

Dr. Yadav informed the media that festivities will be formally inaugurated by the Lieutenant Governor of J&K, Manoj Sinha.
He emphasized that this year’s celebrations aim to highlight the rich cultural heritage of the region and foster a spirit of unity among the citizens.
“As part of the vibrant festivities, a traditional wrestling competition would be organized at the River Front, showcasing local talent and traditional sports. In addition, a special Aarti ceremony would also be performed at the Suryaputri Tawi Ghat at 6 pm adding a spiritual dimension to the celebrations,” the JMC Commissioner maintained.
He urged all the residents of Jammu to participate wholeheartedly in the event and make it a grand success.
