JAMMU, Feb 28: A deputation of Jammu Kashmir Teachers’ Joint Action Committee (JKTJAC), led by UT President Vinod Sharma called on Director School Education Jammu Ashok Kumar Sharma in his Office Chamber, here today and projected the burning issues of the teaching fraternity.
On behalf of JKTJAC, Vinod Sharma demanded regularisation of left out ReTs, conversion of RRETs to Teachers Grade II/III, grant of permission to Teachers Grade III who have acquired graduation degree, issuance of order of mutual transfers, one more DPC of Teachers to Masters, pay order in favour of recently posted Masters who are working on SSA posts and release of time barred arrears.
The Director gave a patient hearing to the deputation and assured to redress each and every issue raised by the JKTJAC leadership.
He gave directions to issue circulars to CEOs for submission of Regularisation and Conversion files. He said that one list of Regularisation of ReTs is ready and will be issued shortly. Regarding one more DPC, he said that once exact vacancy position is submitted by the CEOs, the process will be initiated accordingly.
Later the JKTJAC deputation also met with Joint Director H R Pakhru regarding the issues of the teachers who assured to redress the same.
Others who were part of the deputation included:- Naseer Ahmed Butt, Rishi Singh Rana, Lekh Raj Parihar, Hari Lal Nag, Hukam Chand Rathore, Deepak Rajan, Kuldip Raj, Rajinder Singh, Mushtaq Ahmed, Shiv Kumar, Roop Singh and Surinder Singh.
