JKTJAC delegation meets CEO Udhampur, raises burning issues of teachers

UDHAMPUR, June 11: A deputation of Jammu Kashmir Teachers’ Joint Action Committee (JKTJAC) led by UT President Vinod Sharma and District President Udhampur Lekh Raj Parihar, called on Chief Education Officer Udhampur K K Badyal, here today and highlighted burning issues of the teaching fraternity of District Udhampur.
The delegation sought updating of service books of the teachers of Zone Ghordi, release of 6 to 7 months Mid Day Meals dues, provision of 2nd teacher in single teacher primary schools, release of DA arrears of the teachers of Zone Tikri, release of carriage charges under Mid Day Meals and earned leave in favour of teachers engaged during summer camps.
They also demanded the issuance of post facto permission in favour of teachers who have done their graduation.
Chief Education Officer Udhampur listened the deputation quite patiently and assured to redress each and every issue raised by the JKTJAC leadership.
The deputation comprised of Sham Sharma, Sukesh Khajuria, Ashok Seth, Pritam Goswami, Chain Singh, Ravinder Singh Rathore, Bhushan Khajuria, Shamsher Singh, Vijay Sadhotra, Suresh Sharma, Sandeep Sharma, Rakesh Singh, Vinod Kumar, Puma Chand, Ashok Kumar, Vijay Sharma and others.
