JAMMU, Feb 2: For immediate filling up of vacant posts, Jammu Kashmir Teachers Forum has urged the authorities to expedite the placement and adjustment of Zonal Education Officers and Headmasters who are under consideration for promotion.
“The vacant positions, particularly those of Headmasters, are causing a void in school leadership, impacting the smooth functioning of institutions,” said JKTF in a statement, issued here today.
Claiming that the stagnation in the School Education Department is a long-standing issue, JKTF also demanded regularization of lecturers to address this issue and ensure that deserving candidates are given opportunities for career advancement.
The public and students are suffering due to these administrative delays. We request the Government to take immediate action to fill these vacancies and address the concerns of the education sector.
