JKSSB aspirants protest for disengaging external agency in conduct of exams

JAMMU, Mar 20: Continuing their protest for disengaging the private agency hired for conducting Computer Based Test for recruitment by the Jammu Kashmir Services Selection Board, the job aspirants have said that their main demand has not been addressed.
“We never demanded postponement of the exam but only disengaging the controversial agency hired by JKSSB for conducting SBT,” said the protesting aspirants, here today.

Shouting slogans in support of their demand, these SSB aspirants held a protest demonstration at Dogra Chowk today and announced to continue the struggle till the controversial agency is disengaged.
They stressed that for ensuring fair selection, the JKSSB should conduct recruitment exams on its own without taking services of outside agency.
“If Public Service Commission and J&K Board of School Education can conduct exam of hundreds of thousands of candidates, why not JKSSB conducts its recruitment exams on its own,” they said, adding that help of teachers and Government officials can be taken to manage the conduct of exams.
The protesting JKSSB aspirants reiterated that they never demanded postponement of exams but only disengagement of the outside agency. They demanded conduct of recruitment exams as early as possible but without taking help of outside agency.
