JK’s 1,20,849 sq km under Pak, China occupation

Srinagar, June 13: Jammu and Kashmir’s 12,0,849 square kilometer area is under the occupation of China and Pakistan, Government today informed Legislative Council.
Minister Incharge Revenue in a written reply to MLC Naresh Gupta said the existing area of State is 2, 22, 236 square kilometers including an area of 1,20,849 under the occupation of neighbouring Pakistan and China.
The Minister said on this side of Line of Control, the existing area of Jammu Division is 26, 293 square kilometers, in Kashmir Division 15, 948 square kilometers and in Ladakh the area is 59, 146 square kilometers.
