JAMMU, Mar 21: J&K National Panthers Party (JKNPP) shall hold general convention of the party on its 40th Foundation Day on March 23 in winter capital city here.
The Foundation Day will be presided over by late senior Advocate Ghulam Nabi Goni at Gulab Bhawan, Jammu on the Martyrs Day of three heroes of freedom movement on March 23, 1931. This was disclosed by Prof Bhim Singh while addressing the media at Press Club, here today.
He said the Panthers Party on its 40th Foundation Day resolves to initiate a movement from the streets of Jammu and Kashmir to Delhi for the restoration of statehood to Jammu & Kashmir-Ladakh which was founded by Maharaja Gulab Singh in 1846. This was a greatest tragedy with the people of the State of Jammu & Kashmir, including Ladakh, Gilgit and PoJK who belong to State of Jammu & Kashmir.
Singh said JKNPP shall also continue its struggle for the implementation of all Fundamental Rights provided in chapter-III of the Indian Constitution. This is another tragedy with the people of Jammu & Kashmir that the Fundamental Rights have not been made fully applicable for the residents of Jammu & Kashmir because so called Public Safety Act has been kept alive by the Govt of India by keeping PSA alive when the Parliament on August 5, 2019 had demolished the 200 years State Jammu & Kashmir, though illegally and un-constituently.
Holding of immediate State Assembly elections, shall be the movement which Panthers Party shall declare officially on behalf of JKNPP on March 23, 2021.
