JAMMU, June 11: The 627th Parkash Divas of Sadgur Kabir Ji Maharaj was celebrated by All Jammu and Kashmir Megh Sabha (JKMS) here today.
People across district Doda, Bhaderwah, Kathua, Samba and other parts of states participated in the function, which was organized by Megh Sabha.
Yudvir Sethi, MLA Jammu East attended the event as the chief guest, Babu Ram Pal (Ex-Minister) was the guest of honour.
Narinder Datt, president of JKMS congratulated all the present dignitaries in the function.
He also putforth the charter of demand for the welfare of public like construction of a double storey hall, so that people can sit together during any event.
Meritorious students were also honoured by chief guest.
Yudhvir Sethi congratulated the public on the celebration of 627th Parkash Divas of Sadgur Kabir Ji Maharaj.
He also laid stress to work on philosophy & education suggested by Sadgur Kabir Ji Maharaj for development & prosperity in all sections of society, which is also vision of Prime Minister of India, Narendera Modi.
Speaking on the occasion Ram Pal appealed the public to follow the path of education as suggested by Kabir Ji Maharaj.
Among others who were present during the function included Ram Lal, Rajinder Bhagat, Ravi Kant, Ashok Kumar, Narinder Singh, Amar Nath, Rakesh Shivan, Vishal Bhagat, Dev Raj, Ashok Kumar, Vinod Kumar, Satpal, Paramver Bhagat and Swarna Bhagat.
