JAMMU, Dec 17: Jammu Kashmir Medical Employees Federation (JKMEF) Jammu today urged upon the Additional Chief Secretary Health & Medical Education Department Vivek Bhardwaj to pass directions for conducting DPC of all categories of employees.
In a meeting of the Federation heel here today under the chairmanship of Sushil Sudan (president JKMEF), all the participants expressed strong anguish towards the pick and choose policy of Director Health Services Jammu while conducting DPC of some preferential employees purely under blanket cover ignoring DPC of all other categories of employees.
Speaking on the occasion, Sushil Sudan said they have been urging Government from time to time to conduct DPC of all categories of all employees for all vacant posts in the department by transparent manner and not dole as retirement gift. He said in a meeting at Civil Secretariat on 06-08-2021, the then Additional Chief Secretary Health Atal Dulloo in presence of Director Health Services Jammu Dr Renu Sharma and other senior officers, had assured to conduct DPC of all categories within 15 days but nothing was done so far.
Other who participated in the meeting were Parfulat Singh (general secretary), Dharminder Singh, Kamwaljit Sawhney, Bharat Bhushan, Ch Jarnail Singh, working president J&K Pharmacists Association, Neelam Kumari (president J&K Female Multipurpose Workers Association), Ch Aslam (president J&K Lab Tech Employees Association, Harpal Singh (J&K X-Ray Tech Employees Association), Jaswinder Singh (president, J&K OT Tech Employees Association) and others.
