SAMBA, Apr 27: A meeting of Jammu Kashmir Medical Employees Federation (JKMEF) was held at District Hospital Samba wherein participants discussed the critical issue of the pending salaries under 2211 Family Welfare Head.
The meeting held under the chairmanship of Kuldeep Dabgotra (district president, Samba), was attended by a large number of health employees from Samba district. The Central body team of JKMEF was apprised of the grievances faced by health employees in the district.
The participants urged the Central body team to highlight the issue of pending salaries under the 2211 Family Welfare Head with the higher authorities in the Health Department, noting that affected employees are on the verge of starvation.
Also present in the meeting were Prafulat Singh (general secretary), Harpal Singh (president, X-Ray Technician), Dheeraj Sharma (president, Udhampur district), Sunil Bandral, Kamla Devi, Mohd Arshad, Kartar Chand, Naresh Jamwal, Vijay Sharma and Bharat Bhushan Bhagat (president, J&K Government Pharmacist Association).
