JAMMU, Dec 21: Jammu Kashmir Medical Employee Federation (JKMEF) discussed its demands during a one -day conference held here today under the leadership of Sushil Sudan, its president.
During the conference, participants discussed demands of medical employees i.e. amendment of SRO 20, up-gradation/creation of post of Pharmacist as Block and District Pharmacy Officer, enhancement of grade of FMPHW and 50% share promotion for Health Educator post and enhancement of grade and uniform allowance of staff nurse.
The other demands discussed in the conference were enhancement of FTA from Rs 45 to Rs 2000 per month for Malaria staff, removal of pay anomaly of clerk, creation of post of Head Assistant in Block and SO Post in CMO Office, registration/insurance for all ambulance for the safety of driver and patient, seasonal uniform in favour of Class-IV/Safaiwalas, risk allowance in favour of all categories of health employees and providing adequate staff to all PHC to work 24×7 for better patient care.
Addressing the conference, president of the Federation supported the cause of employees working in NHM, RNTCP and JK AIDS Control Society, who are protesting for their genuine demands.
