KATHUA, June 14: A delegation of Jammu Kashmir Government Teachers Forum (JKGTF) under the leadership of its president S Parveen Singh, met with Mangat Ram Sharma, Chief Education Officer Kathua and presented a memorandum of demands discussing in detail the burning issues of the teaching community.
As per the memorandum, the teachers who were promoted from Laboratory Assistant to teacher in 2018 are not regularized till now; the Mid Day Meal (MDM) Incharge teacher should be on rotation basis, provide staff for primary schools where single teacher is working, transfer of teachers and masters who have completed their tenure, etc.
The CEO heard patiently and gave assurance that he would do best efforts for redressal of these issues.
The delegation comprised of Jagdish Chander, District President; Rajiv Sharma, ,Jaswant Singh, Rajesh Kumar, Iqbal Singh, Angrej Singh, Hira Singh, Tersem Lal, Pawan Kumar, Rajesh Sharma and Mohan Lal.
