RAJOURI, Jan 30: Micro Finance and Financial Inclusion (MF&FI) Department of J&K Grameen Bank (JKGB) in collaboration with NABARD organized Digital-Financial Literacy Awareness Programme (D-FLAP) in villages Thanamang and Majhoor under the branch offices Darhal and Shahdara.
Regional Manager Rajouri/Poonch, RK Narang, was the chief guest on the occasion. While speaking on the occasion, he informed the participants regarding various modes of getting cashless transactions from banks, various safeguards to be kept in mind in order to be aware and prevent cases of cheating/corruption while availing different banking facilities with special reference to use of ATM cards, mobile banking etc.
Vipan Gupta, senior Manager, MF&FI Department, JKGB, enlightened people about new technologies available in the bank such as multiple uses of bank cheques, use of PoS machine, Rupay debit card, KCC Rupay debit card, net banking, mobile banking services, IMPS, Aadhaar based transactions etc.
Sahil Choudhary, Branch Head Darhal, addressed the gathering and detailed them regarding social security schemes APY, PMJJBY and PMSBY. JLGs and KCCs loans of Rs 15 lakh were also disbursed during the programme. Representatives of various line departments also attended the programme.
Besides the huge gathering, Sarpanch, Panchs, women of the area and other dignitaries of the villages were also present during the occasion.
Branch Head Shahdara, Rohit Thappa briefed the gathering about social security schemes including APY, PMJJBY, PMSBY and presented the vote of thanks.
