JAMMU, Dec 13: Members of JKCITU (Jammu and Kashmir Coordination Committee of Trade Unions) met Javid Ahmad Dar, Minister for Agriculture Production, Rural Development & Panchayati Raj, Cooperative and Election Departments, UT of Jammu and Kashmir, and apprised him of the issues concerning the Agriculture Production Department, with particular emphasis on the concerns of Non-Gazetted Horticulture Employees.
The issues raised included the BHT (Basic Horticulture Training) matter as well as the long-pending issue of Recruitment Rules of Horticulture employees.
The delegation was led by Ab Rashid, President, accompanied by Fayaz Ahmad Bhat, General Secretary, and Mohd Amin Dar, Vice President.
The Minister patiently heard the concerns raised by the delegation and assured that the genuine issues highlighted during the meeting would be examined earnestly and resolved in a time-bound manner.
