JKBWA pays tributes to Kargil martyr Tarsem Lal

JAMMU, May 26: Members of the Jammu and Kashmir Batwal Welfare Association today visited the memorial of Kargil War Hero RFN Tarsem Lal of 12 JAKLI at his native village Gandli in tehsil Bishnah and paid tribute to him.
Martyr Tarsem Lal had made supreme sacrifice of his life while fighting Pakistani intruders in the Kargil Sector in 1999 to uphold the dignity of the nation.
Saluting the courage of brave Tarsem Lal, GR Kaith, said the victory in Kargil was an achievement of which the nation is proud of the soldiers and citizens must rededicate themselves to the national cause.
RL Kaith, Havildar Des Raj Kaith and Master Naresh Kumar Kaith also spoke on the occasion. They mentioned that the martyr Tarsem Lal belonged to Sandhu clan of Batwal community and was brave right from his childhood.
