JKBOSE Declares Class 10th Results; Pass Percentage At 85.03

JAMMU, Jan 14: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) on Wednesday announced the results of the annual Class 10th regular examination, recording an overall pass percentage of 85.03, officials said.
According to official data, a total of 94,845 students appeared in the examination, out of which 80,650 students qualified successfully.
An official of JKBOSE said the pass percentage achieved this year is the highest in recent years, reflecting an overall improvement in academic performance.
“Last year, the overall pass percentage for Class 10th stood at around 79 percent,” the official said.
He added that in the previous academic year, about 1,45,671 students had appeared in the Class 10th examination, of which 1,16,453 students were declared successful. In 2023, the pass percentage was recorded at nearly 80 percent.
The official said the consistent improvement in results indicates better academic outcomes and sustained efforts by students and teachers alike. (KNC)
