New Delhi, Feb 26: The Department of Tourism, Jammu & Kashmir is showcasing its vibrant presence at the South Asia’s Travel & Tourism Exchange (SATTE) 2026 at Yashobhoomi Convention Centre, New Delhi, from February 25 to 27. The newly designed experiential J&K Pavilion is attracting visitors, travel trade professionals and stakeholders from across India and abroad.
Director Tourism Jammu Vikas Gupta, Deputy Director Tourism (Publicity) Jammu Savita Chouhan, Deputy Director Tourism (Publicity) Kashmir Zahid Ahmad, Assistant Director Tourism Jammu Vishal Sadhotra and Manager JKTDC Mushtaq Ahmad interacted with tour operators and travel agents during the event.
Over 70 tourism stakeholders including tour operators, hoteliers and travel agents from Jammu & Kashmir are participating and engaging in B2B and B2C networking with national and international buyers.
The pavilion highlights adventure, pilgrimage, leisure, eco, heritage and winter tourism, along with live cultural performances showcasing the rich traditions of the Union Territory.
Stakeholders participating in the event expressed their gratitude to the Government of Jammu & Kashmir and the Tourism Department for providing them a valuable platform to showcase their tourism products and services at an international level, which will significantly help in expanding their business opportunities and market outreach.
Jammu & Kashmir Tourism also bagged the prestigious SATTE Award for “Best Tourism Department” in recognition of its innovative promotional initiatives and outreach efforts.
The participation is aimed at strengthening partnerships and enhancing tourist inflow while positioning Jammu & Kashmir as a premier all-season tourism destination.
