J&K teachers raise issues

UDHAMPUR, Dec 7: A monthly meeting of Jammu Kashmir Teachers Joint Action Committee (JKTJAC) was held here today under the leadership of JKTJAC District Udhampur president, Lekh Raj Parihar and the meeting was attended by JKTJAC executive members from all eleven zones of the district.
Speaking in the meeting, Parihar expressed hope regarding formation of a transparent transfer policy for the teachers.
He also said that conversion of Teachers Grade III to Teachers Grade II for those whose files are lying in DSEJ office should be done as early as possible.
Demand of regularization of left out EV converted ReTs was also raised.
Other demands raised on this occasion were release of MDM dues which the teachers have managed from their own pockets, release of time barred arrears of left out teachers and DPC of teachers to masters.
Meanwhile, JKTJAC leadership also urged Chief Education Officer Udhampur for transition of Teachers Grade II/III on substantive posts.
