JAMMU : Actor turned politician and Senior Congress leader Raj Babbar today said BJP only provides ‘lip service’ but failed to work on the ground.
“It was the Congress party which had launched numerous welfare schemes for the upliftment of people of every section of the society and took the country to new heights of progress and prosperity,” Mr Babbar said.
While addressing a public meeting in support of Congress candidate from Raipur Domana Constituency Mula Ram here, the Congress leader said Congress has policies and programmes for the welfare of people of all walks of life.
He appealed to the people to strengthen the Congress for peace, progress and prosperity in Jammu and Kashmir. (AGENCIES)
