J&K officers to coordinate with Punjab Govt for smooth movement of livestock

JAMMU, July 30: The Department of Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs, J&K, has constituted a team of officers for coordination with the Government of Punjab for smooth movement of livestock animals and prevention of overcharging.
The team will visit Punjab for holding dialogue with the concerned officers of the Government of Punjab for amicable resolution of the issue related to smooth movement of livestock animals and prevention of overcharging by the relevant department of Punjab Government regarding livestock transit trucks belonging to livestock traders of Jammu and Kashmir.
The team of officers shall submit a detailed report to the administrative department regarding the outcome of their visit so that further course of action, in the matter, is taken.
The team of officers comprises Manoj Prabhakar, Deputy Controller, Legal Metrology Department, J&K, Mohammad Rafeeq Bhat, Dy Director FCS&CA Department Kashmir and Sham Lal Abrol, Deputy Director, FCS&CA Department, Jammu.
