JAMMU, Nov 25: President of Jammu and Kashmir BJP, Ravinder Raina today said that J&K has suffered because of Pakistan sponsored terrorism, separatism and the wrong policies of successive Congress Governments at Centre.
Addressing the two -day long Youth Parliament organized by Karnavati University Ahmedabad, Gujarat, in which more than 2500 young student leaders across the country participated, Raina said in J&K there is no issue of Hindu versus Muslim but in reality the fight is between nationalist versus anti national forces. He said that J&K is part of India since ages and the Kashmir’s name is associated with the name of Maharishi Kashyap -a great saint who with his spiritual power depleted the entire water from the lake and converted it into a beautiful Valley. He said J&K is the land of great saints and Suffis it is considered as a paradise on earth. The Pakistan is trying to vandalize this paradise but 130 crore of Indians will never allow power of earth to grab Jammu and Kashmir.
Ritvij Patel, the Director of Karnavati University and Vice Chancellor Dr. Deepak Sheyshu extended the Vote of thanks.
Raina, said that last Dogra Maharaja Hari Singh was a true patriot and freedom fighter who always stood with nationalist forces in India but it was Congress party and its leader Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru who made blunders in J&K. He said that due to Nehruvian blunders, common man suffered badly for last 72 years including loss of innocent lives. He said that Modi Government did historic course correction in J&K as anti-nationals are taken to task, Pakistan is badly punished, miscreants are treated with iron hands, terrorists are being naturalized by the Jawans and justice is being delivered to Common man. Panchayat elections and subsequently BDC elections in J&K are now sincere efforts to strengthen democracy in J&K whereas Congress, NC and PDP halted grass root level democracy in J&K.
Raina, said that West Pakistani refugees (WPR), PoJK Refugees, Dogras, Gujjars and Bakerwals, Valmiki Samaj, Paharies, Buddhists, Shias and even common Kashmiris were worst victims of Article 370. He said that this Article did criminal injustice with women especially those married outside J&K. Students also suffered badly as the Right to Education act was not applicable to J&K.
