UDHAMPUR, Nov 27: Ranbir Singh Pathania, MLA Udhampur East, has accused Jammu and Kashmir Government of relying on “false promises” and hollow “political narratives” instead of delivering actual development.
Addressing a series of public meetings, held during Janata Darbars at Jaganoo, Tikri, Battal and Pagyal, Pathania asserted that the current administration in Jammu and Kashmir is “just buying time,” with no substantial agenda for progress.
He reminded the people that during elections, the ruling party had made lofty promises, such as providing 200 units of free electricity, free rations, and creating over one lakh jobs. However, these promises, according to him, have proven to be just election hoaxes, as there has been no concrete action to fulfill them.
“The Government’s rhetoric about development and welfare has no basis in reality. They have repeatedly shown green pastures, but in the same elections, they offered nothing more than empty words. The people of Jammu and Kashmir deserve more,” Pathania remarked.
In contrast, Pathania claimed, the Modi Government has launched people-friendly schemes that would unlock thousands of crores in infrastructure projects, ushering in an era of peace and development.
Pathania reiterated his commitment to the development of Udhampur East, with a vision to transform it into a model constituency. “I will work tirelessly to bring infrastructure, welfare, and job opportunities to every corner of Udhampur East,” he said.
During his visit, the MLA also Inaugurated key infrastructure projects, including the Pagyal to Narsulla Bridge worth Rs 1.62 crore and another NABARD road project from Kharang to Larang, valued at 1.75 crore rupees. Pathania assured the public that these developments are just the beginning and pledged to continue working towards improving the region’s connectivity and overall infrastructure.
The public meetings were attended by key local leaders, including Subhash Sharma (Mandal Pradhan), Ashish Sharma (Mandal Pradhan), Juhi Manhas Pathania (Vice Chairperson, District Development Council Udhampur), Joginder Sharma, Sunita Rathore, Arti Sharma, Sandeep Singh (ex-Sarpanch), Sehdev Singh (Sarpanch), Sanjeev Singh (ex-BDC Chairman), and Hardev Singh (former Naib Sarpanch).
