JAMMU, Dec 8: The Jammu and Kashmir Government today appointed Prof (Dr) Iffat Hassan Shah, Principal of Government Medical College Srinagar, as the Inquiry Officer to probe the incident that occurred on December 8 at the Child and Maternity Hospital in Anantnag.
She has been tasked with conducting a detailed enquiry and outlining the sequence of events, while Dr Mushtaq Ahmed, Medical Superintendent of the hospital, will assist her.
The Inquiry Officer has been directed to submit a comprehensive report with recommendations within 14 days
