JAMMU, Nov 25: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has invited nominations for the J&K Government Awards for the year 2026, to be presented on the eve of Republic Day.
As per the notification issued by the General Administration Department, the awards will honour excellence in fields such as bravery, literature, performing arts, art and crafts, social reforms, public service, lifetime achievements, sports, media, environment, and industrial entrepreneurship.
Accordingly, nominations have been sought from social and sports organizations, NGOs, universities, J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages, Administrative Secretaries for meritorious public service, and Divisional Commissioners, with the last date for submission fixed as December 15, 2025.
