Jammu, Oct 3: The Jammu and Kashmir Finance Department has announced a 25 percent increase in the Children Education Allowance (CEA) and Hostel Subsidy for government employees following the enhancement of Dearness Allowance by 50 percent from January 1, 2024.
As per an order, the revised monthly rates are Rs. 2812.50 for CEA, Rs. 8437.50 for Hostel Subsidy, and Rs. 5625 for CEA for Divyang children.
